Det höll på att ta en ände med förskräckelse.
Ica´s röda bokstäver syntes på långt håll och jag snålköpte två stora paket. Plus ett paket smör och en liten bytta Bregott. Men när hon ville ha 214kr av mig i kassan kändes det inte så billigt längre. Det var ett försäljningstrick och Airam ilsknade till medan kön blev längre o längre. För att få slut på den här utläggningen handlade det om att: Tjocka spjäll såldes för 29:90kr/kg. Men de var slut och man slängde fram dessa istället. Med förhoppningen att vi kunder skulle se det finstilta under de stora röda billiga siffrorna. Nämligen att tunna spjäll inte krängdes utan gick för 59:90kr/kg.
Vad jag betalade? 29:90kr/kg förstås!

De kryddades giftfritt och blev så himla goda.
Ugn 150-175gr.
Riv gul lök och gärna lite vitlök. Vispa/rör samman god olja med tomatpuré och blanda ner löken. Krydda med hygglig mängd salt och fortsätt med mald ingefära, mald vitpeppar, vitlökspulver, paprikapulver och lite cayenne. Var inte snål med kryddorna. Tillsätt gärna någon rökig extrakt/kondens om det finns hemma.
Pensla geggan runt om spjällen och stek dem på ugnsgallret med långpannan under i drygt en timma.
Sätt om ugnsvredet till grill och låt dem anta "rätt" grillkänsla och färg.
Serveras till stor fördel med någon typ av coleslaw - här gjord på råriven blomkål, squash och paprika tillsammans med creme fraiche, majonäs och fransk senap.

Här kommer ett litet tips, inte på en restaurang utan på ett lite mindre ställe. Gick förbi handelshögskolan idag (fast på andra sidan vägen) och där har det öppnat en juice- och smoothiebar. Ahnanas tror jag den hette, riktigt riktigt god smoothie. Litet, trevligt, okänt för den stora massan ännu. Dom va rätt nyöppnade, förra veckan tror jag hon som stod där sa.
